I appreciate your interest Sandy. Well, you said it. I used blue, cerulean I think, to paint the blue area. When dry I added a glaze of sap green on top. I was trying to capture that shiny glare that was glistening on the leaf.

Lisa, I am trying to figure out how you got the greyed greenish blue color in the leaf just over the top of this flower....your ability to accurately see and paint color and shadow is just amazing. Hats off to you on this one.
